Using a unique combination of sustainably harvested Ash, Walnut and Kevlar in curved composite laminations throughout his bikes, he builds “scorchers” with clean lines, natural flowing curves and an amazing ride. Strong, fast and fun, they are minimalist in appearance, having a simple leather saddle and grips, coaster brakes, and 29er wheels. See the latest design with disc brakes and a Carbon Drive.
Since 1991, Don Walker has been crafting frames from his small shop. Because he was a track racer before he was a frame builder, it gave him a lot of insight on what he wanted in a bike. He even built a frame for former pursuit world champion Shaun Wallace! Each frame is created to each rider’s specific needs using exact measurements and care. In 2005, Walker and five other framebuilders formed the North American Handmade Bicycle Show (NAHBS) – providing an opportunity for all custom builders to showcase their works while reaching a broad audience. Today, the show continues to grow and be a meeting point for framebuilders and consumers looking for custom-made bikes, sharing ideas and the promotion of a special industry with a rich history dating back to 1819.

Top quality Iride bicycles have been produced in the same factory, run by the Gemmati family, in a small town near Venice Italy, since 1919.
