Wheel Fanatyk
NAHBS Booth: #435

Wheel Fanatyk, based in Seattle, hosts a community that obsesses about wheel lore. We sell components, share history, answer questions, advise on technology, and generally enthuse about our favorite object. We maintain a blog, a Facebook page, and a web store. Join the fun.

We represent Ghisallo wood rims (Italy), Morizumi Spoke Machines (Japan), P&K Lie Truing Stands (Germany), Whitefish Wood wheel tools (Montana), Curtis Odom hubs (California), Wheel Fanatyk tensiometers (Washington), and many other unique, useful, and decorative items. We source products from small, family businesses with eclectic design standards and an unusual commitment to quality and beauty. Together, we hope to support and inspire wheel builders and lovers.

Ric Hjertberg is the chief wheel fanatic, previously founder of Wheelsmith (along with his brother Jon), new technology manager for FSA, and most recently product officer for Mad Fiber. He enjoys demystifying the art and science of wheel design and building, sharing techniques and trends, and recognizing good work from around the world.

Co-fanatics Jon, Donna, and Kristina will also be in the booth.
