Celebrating 20 years creating the finest custom titanium bicycles, Kish Fabrication is now located in Carrboro, North Carolina, after many years in San Luis Obispo, California.
Kish builds road, mountain (all wheel sizes, even weird ones like 24″ and 650B!), cyclocross, touring and city bikes. We are best known for our titanium creations, but we offer TIG welded steel frames as well. Our frames are praised for their design’s elegant simplicity, meticulous welding and attention to detail. More importantly, we treat our customers with honesty and respect, and use our decades of experience to build the best-handling, best-fitting bike you’ve ever owned.
Jim Kish, owner and founder, is recognized as an expert in all things titanium, and teaches United Bicycle Institute’s prestigious titanium frame building classes. He has also taught in Cal Poly’s Industrial Manufacturing & Engineering department, and has consulted for countless bicycle manufacturers over the years. Jim does all the fitting, design, maching and welding of every Kish frame.
