Award Winner:
Best Titanium Construction – Road Bike (Award for: Best titanium construction):
The Ultegra electronic equipped road frame is built up in its raw, unfinished, unadulterated form. Gutsy yes, but we are confident its impeccable workmanship, design, miters, impeccable welds and quality make it a showpiece. The US made (Sandvik and Haynes) titanium tubing was selected from super light yet efficient and stiff race stock. The frame weighs only 2.8 pounds. Presented in its natural form the viewer gets a true idea of the detail and skill put forth in the construction of our titanium bikes.

This bike will be used as a demo model for prospective customers at our shop and happens to fit Kent perfectly. He donated the Ultegra electronic groupo he won at a Shimano tech session raffle at Interbike, lucky guy!

Full Suspension Titanium Mountain Bike (Entry for: Best mountain bike):
This titanium mountain bike was conceived and executed by Brad Bingham since reuniting with Kent Eriksen at Kent Eriksen Cycles. Together, Brad and Kent built this extraordinary bike completely from titanium, implementing 27.5” wheels. Suspension features 90 mm rear travel paired with a 120 mm front fork. All linkages employ high quality bearings and a unique linkage arm, and the rear triangle features the “matched arc” alignment, which Kent pioneered at Moots Cycles. Kent quotes “I have never been involved in a project where I have seen as much precision tooling generated to produce one design and I am completely blown away by Brad’s efforts producing this frame. Its execution exceeds all my expectations”.

This particular bike was built for Kent’s wife Katie and features retro purple accents and a race-ready build.
