Hed has been handbuilding wheels since 1987.  We invented the modern aero wheel, and our wheels have been ridden to victory in nearly any event you could think of.

In 2007 we designed introduced our C2 platform, the first 23mm wide clincher race wheels.  C2 encompasses a complete line of wheels, from light and strong alloy clincher wheels to full on race and time trial aero wheels.  They have proven both extremely popular (and widely copied) and extremely fast.  In 2011 a Hed Jet 90 and Hed Disc were the first clincher wheels in the modern era (and maybe ever) to be ridden to victory in the UCI Men’s TT world championships.
