Fatbikes:

These two bikes were a lot of fun to build.  I loved the challenge of making those fat tires fit into my frame.  The rides that I was able to take on them were great fun too.  I can’t wait to finish mine so that I can discover what new types of exploring I will be able to do on it.

Mountain/Cyclocross:

For me a ride on the trails and gravel back roads around home are a great way to get in a workout and reset my head on a commute home from work.  The versatility of a mountain or cyclocross bike means that my route options are almost limitless.

Road Bikes:

My first love is road touring.  My wife and I got married at the beginning of a loaded tour 20 years ago.  I really love the adventure of living on the bike.  We are lucky t have young children that are also excited about touring and look forward to many miles with them in the future.

Track Bikes:

I love velodrome racing.  The simple beauty of a track bike really excites me.  Here are the track bikes that I have made to date.  The last three pictured here are for the youngest of riders and have 520 (24 inch) wheels.  Bikes of this size are in great demand at the Velodrome at Bloomer Park in Rochester, Michigan near where I live.  Often on Junior Night at the track there are more riders than bikes for this size frame.

Bob Keller Frameworks (Entry for: Best new builder):
This frame is my third fat-bike frame. It is a fillet brazed steel frame. On this frame I decided to compliment the reverse curved top tube that I had tried on my last fat-bike frame by adding curved cantilevered seat stays. For the show I wanted the quality of my fillets to be visible but I also wanted to show the powdercoat finish. So together with my powdercoater we came up with the idea of coating half of the frame in powder and leaving the other half raw. This frame together with the fillet brazed fork makes a beautiful combination with great lines.
